The battle for late night supremacy is about to begin!
In one corner, Jimmy Fallon, the soon-to-be host of The Tonight Show!
His challenger, Jimmy Kimmel, host of his own talk show in the same time slot on ABC!
Only one man can rule 11:35pm! Prepare for a fight for ratings like you've never seen before!!!
Or…not.
Turns out, the two Jimmys are already calling a truce before they even go head-to-head!
According to a source, Fallon and Kimmel just want to be BFFs, and never enemies! The insider claims:
"They have made a pinky promise to go easy on each other and be friends and even appear on each other’s show when they’re in each other’s respective cities."
Both men say they want nothing to do with the late night wars that went on for years between Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and David Letterman. They just want to entertain America in peace!
Fallon is set to take the reigns from Leno on February 24, 2014 in what should be a MUCH smoother transition than what we saw when Conan was given The Tonight Show back in 2009.
But can Jimmy F. and Jimmy K. really stay besties for long?
Eventually someone has to win the ratings book, gentlemen! But why wait for the ratings! We'll let you decide right now, Perezcious readers!
