Would you please give me some career advice? - Actuarial Outpost

I am currently interning at a life insurance company. My responsibility is to solve the life issue on UL and IUL policies, which involves comprehensive and extensive pricing analysis on UL and IUL policies.

In the past, I had done a health research with my professor on PPACA and other major healthcare reforms. Furthermore, I had a summer internship in P&C field and a part time internship in financial market research field.

As to the exam progress, I passed five preliminary exams.

The only thing that will heavily restrict my career choice is I need visa sponsorship if working in the U.S.

I am an outgoing person. I think my ideal career will be Actuarial Consulting Business. I was wondering if you guys have any advice on how to start and where to start? If you want to share any experiences on how to make resume shine out from the application pool or on how to succeed in interviewing, that will be great as well.

Anyways, I really need your advice and thanks in advance.
